Rail Booking Revolution in Europe!

Booking a train ticket for any destination across Europe just got easier! Now, one can buy a rail ticket from any UK station to thousands of European locations in one go, thanks to the London startup Loco2.com.

The website allows travelers to enter the name of the starting point of their journey and their final destination, and the rest is taken care of with the website working out the routes and cost and making provisions to book the trains. All of this is done as a part of a single transaction!

The process is a seamless one and simplifies travelling across and holidaying in Europe via trains. Besides regional services, high speed trains like the Eurostar, TGV and ICE can also be booked. The icing on the cake, however, is that Loco2.com does not charge any additional booking fees and in fact offers the facility of printing one’s tickets at home and then collecting them from the station in UK, France and Germany.

The Good Samaritan

Loco2, the name that incidentally stands for Low Co2, that is, Carbon dioxide, is an initiative that attempts to offer trains as an alternative to taking flights. Although the railways networks of France and Germany work well in coordination, Loco2.com is the first service to blend in the network of UK to this system.

Advice of Caution: Presently, the service does not run too smoothly in certain places across Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and a few remote European countries due to limited access to data. So, make your bookings in advance if you are heading to any of these places.
