It has launched an online visa system through which people wanting to visit the country can get a visa in minutes. Every year, Turkey is visited by over 30 million tourists, and is fourth largest tourist destination in Europe.

“Those who would like to travel to Turkey for tourism or business purposes will not have to go to Turkish embassies or consulates or wait in queues at the airport to obtain a visa,” said a statement issued by the Turkish embassy.

  • This visa is only for those visiting the country for tourism or business purposes. Okay!
