Getting here would not be difficult now

They say that for every person who breaks your heart, there’s another waiting to fix it. Being the travel junkies that we are, we found new meaning in these words – for every country that rejects your visa on grounds ranging from vague to downright offensive, there’s a country kind enough to offer you a visa on arrival!

Yes, it’s true. Malaysia has recently announced a Visa On Arrival (VOA) entry system for Indians travelling to the nation from a third country, including Thailand and Singapore. Travellers can avail of this facility and explore the beautiful country of Malaysia, provided they carry with themselves visa for the countries which they arrive from along with tickets confirming their return to India, besides the usual sunglasses and sunscreen. The charges for the visa will be 330 MYR (100 USD).

All major airports of Malaysia will now be equipped with the VOA facility. These include Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Penang International Airport, Low cost Terminal LCCT (KLIA), Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sultan Ismail International Airpor and Sabah and Kuching International Airport, Sarawak.

Malaysia has always been a favourite destination among Indian travelers, attracting families and couples in hordes. This move by Malaysian Tourism will thus further boost the influx of holidaymakers and vacationers to the country.
