Vietnam Tour & Travel Guide - Where to Shop in Vietnam

Phu Quoc Pearls

If you?re a pearl person, you have to make a stop at Phu Quoc Pearls, which is loacted on an isolated stretch of Long Beach. A tiny shop sells beautiful pearl necklaces and earrings. You could find cheaper stuff at kiosks in the village of Ham Ninh, as long as you don?t care much about the guarantee of authenticity.

Hieu Phuc Loi

A good souvenir to carry back home would be your very own stamp. You can buy elegantly designed, personalised stamps at cluttered little shops. The designs are hand-carved on wooden blocks, which come with a red-ink stamp pad.

Reaching Out

This lovely little fair-trade gift shop started by a Vietnamese couple could be a good place to pick up knick knacks for friends and family. Another reason to visit this place could be that the shop employs disabled artisans and the proceeds go back into the business to train and employ the disabled across Vietnam.

Fahasa Bookshop

For those who like to add local titles to their book collection, this Government-run bookshop, which sells dictionaries, maps and general books in English and French would make for an interesting stop.
