Ranikhet also has one of the best mountain golf links (9 hole) in the country at Upat (6 kilometers from Ranikhet), which is surrounded by dense oak forests. The museum and the memorial are the top tourist attractions of the town. Ranikhet offers excellent views of the snowcapped Nanda Devi (7817m), lush green forests, exotic plants and wild life.
