Singapore’s Changi Airport is well organized and efficient. It also packs in a mean share of entertainment facilities—apart from shopping and dining options, Changi Airport has the world’s largest slide in an airport. So outstanding is the airport, that local Singaporeans are known to visit the airport simply for recreational purposes!
Reaching your hotel from the airport should be fairly simple as well. Taxis can be hailed outside the airport (follow the signs to the Taxi queue). They are fairly reasonable and run by the meter. A $3 - $5 surcharge applies for journeys to/fro the airport. If you have minimal luggage and are feeling particularly adventurous, hop onboard the MRT (metro), which opens up into the basement of Changi Airport. Singapore is well connected by the MRT. Quick and unbelievably cheap, you will catch a glance of life in Singapore as well.
