Air

Macau International Airport is the only international airport in Macau. Located in Tapai island, it is linked to Bangkok, Beijing, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Busan, Kuala Lumpur, Pyongyang, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, Lisbon, Brussels and many cities in China.The airport is a fifteen-minute drive from the Macau Ferry Terminal and a twenty-minute drive from the Barrier Gate. There is also a regular helicopter service, run by East Asia Airlines, between Hong Kong and Macau ferry terminals. The duration is only sixteen minutes, and flights operate between 9 am to 11 pm.

Ferry

There is 24 hours ferry service between Hong Kong and Macau. The ferry takes 45 minutes to reach either destination. Tickets to Macau can be bought in Hong Kong up to 28 days in advance, whereas tickets to Hong Kong can be bought maximum 7 days in advance in Macau. The 3 terminals in Macau are namely, Macau Marine Ferry terminal (or Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal), Macau Inner Harbour ferry terminal and Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal. Macau's three ferry terminals also provide service to Shenzhen. Macau Inner Harbour ferry terminal also provides transport to Zhuhai.

Getting Around

By Bus Macau is an easy entrance into China. Buses can be taken from Border Gate and Cotai Frontier Post to Zhuhai. Buses for Guangzhou depart every half-hour and for Zhongshan every 20 minutes. There are also buses to Guangzhou and Dongguan from Macau International Airport.Within Macau itself, the bus network is very good. All buses are air conditioned and fares are moderate. By Taxi Taxis are available aplenty, and are always at hand near all important areas like Macau airport, ferry terminal and big hotels.
