• Indian nationals can apply for UAE Visa either through a sponsor in UAE or through the Dubai Visa Processing Centre (DVPC) in India or through Dubai Marhaba Services in India.
• If applying through a sponsor, the sponsor needs to furnish a No Objection Certificate (NoC) and provide your passport details to the Immigration Directorate. Visa is faxed to the traveller and needs to be carried while travelling; it is endorsed on arrival at the point of entry. Do note, typical processing time for such a visa is 15 working days and the visa granted is valid for 30 days.
• You should have a passport valid for at least 6 months at time of travel.
• If you are travelling by Emirates Airlines, then visa can be processed through DVPC. The visa is valid for a period of 58 days from the date of issue and allows maximum duration of stay of 30 days or 96 hours (depending on the type of visa applied for and granted). Typical processing time is 3 to 4 working days for grant of the visa.
• Express visa service is available through DVPC, which allows grant of visa within 36 hours from submission of the application.
• If you are travelling on any other airline, then visa is processed through Dubai Marhaba Services. You can apply for a 30 day visa (processing time 4 to 5 working days) or a 96 hour visa (processing time 2 to 3 working days). Friday & Saturday are non working days.
