Goa with Friends

If you are going on a tour to Goa with your friends, then North Goa is the place to be. The area is always in a party mode, especially at night. The top three places to visit there are:

1. Baga Beach

Your Goa trip is not complete if you haven’t visited Baga beach. One of the biggest beaches in Goa, Baga is a fun destination to hang out at with your friends. You can get temporary tattoos, eat and drink as much and whatever you like, rent bikes and roam around, or just laze around. It the perfect place to chill and get a little suntan if you like! Do go to Tito’s pub in the evening. It’s the best club in that area. Also, if you are a seafood person, remember to eat at least one meal at Brittos, which is just round the corner of Baga beach.

2. Anjuna Beach

A little further from Baga is the Anjuna beach. The highlight destination in this area is Curlie’s shack. It boasts of amazing food and good music. Anjuna is best when visited before 9 p.m.

3. Chapora Fort

Click the signature Dil Chahta Hai trio pics on the fort edge, and take in the mesmerizing view of the sea below. Remember to put on your hiking shoes for this, as there’s a little trekking involved.

Goa with Family

Going for a family vacation? You cannot miss the Old Goa city then. It is full of Goan history and you’ll get a chance to see how people live in Goa.The top three places to visit there are:

1. Basilica of Bom Jesus

One of the oldest churches of Goa, this will give you a glimpse of the culture and history of Christianity in Goa. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and preserves the remains of St. Francis Xavier.

2. Calangute Beach


Known as the “Queen of beaches”, it is one of the busiest beaches in Goa. Perfect for a great family time together.The Calangute beach is mainly famous because of its main street leading from the main Hindu Calangute Temple from the Fish Market towards the beach which is full of small shops. From home products to handicrafts, from antiques to duplicates, from ethnic to foreign from traditional wear to modern outfits, the holiday street of Goa is a shopper’s delight.

3. Palolem Beach

Palolem beach is famous for dolphin sightings. This the just the right place for kids to have fun. Apart from dolphins, boat rides are equally fun and a pleasurable experience. It is relatively less crowded and there are plenty of family restaurants along it. Kids can have a great time building sand castles and collecting shells here!

The next beach in line to Palolem is the Agonda beach, which is famous for its turtle sightings. Visit it as well if you have time in your hands.

Goa with Girlfriend

Goa is a lovely place to go on a romantic holiday. The ambience shouts love all around! Do remember to rent a bike for romantic drives!

1. A Cruise on River Mandovi
