Lighthouses for ages have been the keepers of the oceans. They stand in the middle of the rough seas weathering a storm, still showing the light to those lost in the far waters. But, the remoteness renders them a dreamy feel, which makes them a perfect and most secretive spot for the love-lorn to seal their love with a kiss. A kiss that will turn into an everlasting memory, when the solitude of the far seas consume you. An eternal moment that will only be broken when the foghorn blares…

We instantly fell in love with these lighthouses the moment we saw them and therefore we resolved to pool them together and share it here. See and feel the love they emanate.

Deepti Ahuja Balani

People professionally know me as a copy editor, correspondent and a writer, but writing is something I do even when I am not professionally engaged. I like to visit new places, explore, experience different cultures and share my perspective through words. Writing for food, travel and books is something that comes naturally, and is close to my heart.
